
Psychologist
Melinda is a registered Psychologist who has worked in both the state government, Catholic and private education systems and has extensive experience in both primary, secondary, specialist and adult educational settings.
She has a special interest in identifying and supporting neurodevelopmental differences and learning difficulties. Mel has experience conducting psychoeducational assessments in cognitive abilities, learning difficulties and specific learning disorders including dyslexia, dysgraphia, and dyscalculia.
Mel has also experience working with clients with a range of presenting concerns including anxiety, depression, self-esteem, grief, Autism, ADHD, school refusal, learning difficulties, and emotion regulation challenges. Mel provides a neurodiversity-affirming and collaborative approach that supports the development, learning and wellbeing needs of all individuals.
Whilst Mel works with both adults and children with ADHD, please note that psychologists can not write prescriptions for medication. If an adult wants to pursue medication for ADHD please seek a referral for a psychiatrist from your GP.
