Clinical Psychologist

Dr Steve Carroll has had vast experience co-owning and running a large private practice, boasting 15 clinicians and a strong referral base. He has established BOP to focus on a select team environment in which psychologists work towards clinical excellence – one of client focused outcomes, deliberate practice, and constant improvement and learning. Steve has also worked with youth mental health, drug and alcohol programs, and has over 15 years experience as a clinical psychologist and supervisor.
As a certified International Centre for Clinical Excellence (ICCE) Feedback Informed Treatment (FIT) Trainer, and a registered supervisor, Steve offers training, supervision and FIT implementation for organisations and individuals.
Steve’s interests include anxiety (panic, social, worry), trauma, addiction, personality disorders, grief and depression and his clinical practice includes cognitive behaviour therapy, emotion focused therapy, mindfulness, and schema therapy.
Steve works with all client groups from 16 years old and above. He is a member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS) Clinical College and is registered with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
When Steve is not treating clients he enjoys playing guitar, listening to music, running ultra marathons, travelling, and spending time with his family and his loving golden retriever, Charlie.
