Psychologist

Melinda is a registered Psychologist who has worked in both the state government, Catholic and private education systems and has extensive experience in both primary, secondary, specialist and adult educational settings. Mel has a special interest in identifying and supporting neurodevelopmental differences and learning difficulties. She has experience conducting psychoeducational assessments in cognitive abilities, learning difficulties and specific learning disorders including dyslexia, dysgraphia, and dyscalculia. She has also worked with clients with a range of presenting concerns including anxiety, depression, self-esteem, grief, Autism, ADHD, school refusal, learning difficulties, and emotion regulation challenges. Mel provides a neurodiversity-affirming and collaborative approach that supports the development, learning and wellbeing needs of all individuals.
